Sandpiper of California Warranty Policy - Europe

Sandpiper of California offers a Lifetime Warranty against any manufacturer's defects for the life of the bag. If a product ever fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. Damage not covered under warranty will be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping.

For warranty evaluation, send your product, with a legible copy of the original receipt to: Top of the Range, Unit 10, Home Farm Properties, Wighill Park, Featherbed Lane, Tadcaster, North Yorkshire, LS24 8BN, UK. All shipping to Warranty must be pre-paid and insured. Enclose a check or money order for 8.00 GBP, made out to Top of the Range for return shipping and handling to Mainland UK address {For international addresses, please call or email for shipping quote}. Shipments received without payment enclosed for return shipping fees will not be returned. Top of the Range can not be liable for lost in-bound packages. We recommend sending the products which requires a signature on receipt.

The law requires that products accepted for repair be clean. Charges will be assessed if cleaning is necessary. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights, which vary from state to state and country to country. This warranty policy supersedes all previous warranty policies.

What does "Lifetime" mean?
 Our products are covered under warranty, to the original owner, for the lifetime of the product. Product lifetime varies due to normal wear. The product's "lifetime" specifically refers to the life of the product, or at such a time that, through normal use, the product can no longer function for the specific purpose intended.

Are rips or tears covered by the warranty?
 Rips, tears, burns and holes are not covered under the terms of our warranty policy. We understand that even the best cared bags can meet with an unforeseen or unexplained accident. If your product by Sandpiper of California becomes damaged, we will repair it for a reasonable charge.

Are the zippers covered by the warranty?
 We do our best to provide durable, reliable components and have confidence that they will provide good service. Zippers are not covered by the lifetime warranty since we do not actually manufacture the zippers.

Is the normal wear and tear covered warranty?
 We manufacture all of our products to meet our high standards. However, regardless of how carefully you use, or how well you care for your Sandpiper of California product, it will eventually begin to show age and wear. The Sandpiper of California warranty covers defects in workmanship, regardless of the age of the product, but it does not cover normal wear and tear.

Will my product by Sandpiper of California be repaired or replaced?
 If your product by Sandpiper of California fails due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect, we will repair or replace the item, free of charge. Please keep in mind that our warranty provides us with the option to repair first and replacement is not guaranteed. If the product is not repairable, or if the cost of repairing the item exceeds the cost of a new one, we will replace it.

 Many of our customers become very attached to their Sandpiper products, and do not want us to exercise the option to replace. If your Sandpiper product has special memories attached to it that make it irreplaceable to you, please include a letter or conspicuous note with the shipped item and we will handle the product accordingly.

Typographical Errors

 In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error, Top of the Range shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Top of the Range shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Top of the Range shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
